WhatsApp may soon allow users to edit sent messages – King Of Urdu

San Francisco: After announcing that some important functions are under development such as group polls and WhatsApp Premium, WhatsApp is now working on the possibility of being able edit text messages.

According to WABetaInfo Meta’s website operates now working on letting users modify the content of their text messages for a future update of the app. the feature currently under development so it is not yet available out to beta testers.

A photo shared by the website revealed how the platform for messaging is working on a new feature that allows users to correct any mistakes made after sending an email.

It is likely that there will not have an edit history available to look back at the previous versions of messages that were edited however, since the technology remains under development, their plans could change prior to the release of the feature, as the report stated.

Additionally, the details of the time frame for letting users modify their messages are not available in the moment.

WhatsApp is currently working to bring this feature into WhatsApp beta versions for iOS, Android, and Desktop.

Recently, a report revealed that the company banned over 16.6 lakh bad accounts in India and Pakistan in April to ensure compliance with the newly-enacted IT Rules 2021.

It banned over 18 lakh such accounts from this country during March. The platform also received 844 grievance complaints during April in the country. The account “actioned” were 123.
